Animation of annual built-up extension in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Monitoring urban expansion temporal dynamics is important to estimating future trends and implementing suitable planning strategies.
In this exercise, we animate annual built-up change using the GAIA dataset from (Gong et al, 2020). This dataset contains annual change information of global impervious surface area from 1985 to 2018 at a 30m resolution.
